Whilst studying a joint honours degree in Architectural Design & Property Development at Derby University from 2010-2013, Adam spent his summer’s working as a trainee fabricator at Cutting Edge.
After Graduating Adam returned as a full-time employee, expanding his knowledge and experience in fabrication and production processes before taking on the role as production manager in 2016.
Outside of work Adam enjoys live music, travelling and has a keen interest in classic motorsport.
Agata joined Cutting Edge in 2014 starting as a part time fabricator. She has since gained vital knowledge and experience in solid surface fabrication techniques which in 2016, saw Agata promoted within the bespoke basin fabrication team.
In her spare time, Agata enjoys self-development, witchcraft, and yoga.
Anne brings a wealth of administrative experience to the office. In her spare time Anne enjoys tending to her farm and daughter.
Christian joined Cutting Edge in 2004 as a trainee fabricator, he later progressed onto becoming a templater and Installer of solid surface material, including prestigious installations for some of the top architects and designers in the UK as well as high-profile commercial installation in Tokyo in 2007.
Christian has been our Operations Manager Since 2011. Christian’s interests outside work (other than being a Dad to two girls) include golf and rock music.
Growing up with a strong construction background, Dale joined Cutting Edge in 2014 after graduating a Level 2 Diploma and NVQ Site Carpentry. Dale enjoys spending time with his young family and newly born 5-month-old Son, Paulo.
With his fun-loving attitude he is always pushing himself to achieve new goals and challenges.
Dom moved from Barcelona in 2012 after a successful career in the automotive panel beating industry. His new role Dom ensures all Corian worktops are completed on schedule and to the highest quality.
His 6 + years of Corian fabrication and joinery at Cutting Edge has seen Dom become an invaluable member of the team.
In his spare time, Dom enjoys Ultra HD gaming to ensure his neocortex stays active all of the time.
Edwin joined Cutting Edge as a fabricator in 2014, and is now a part of the project management team. Since graduating from Bucks New University with a degree in Furniture Design & Craftsmanship, he has gained experience in a wide range of roles in the furniture and design industry.
Away from Cutting Edge, Edwin’s passion is gardening; spending much of his spare time tending to his allotment plot, and is currently undertaking part-time study towards a Diploma in Horticulture.
Jack joined Cutting Edge in 2015 as a trainee solid surface fabricator gaining experience in bespoke basin joinery and on site fit outs. Jack spent time travelling Asia and Australia prior to joining Cutting Edge.
In his spare time Jack frequents music concerts and festivals whilst continuing to travel Europe.
Prior to joining Cutting Edge in 2014, James studied Property Marketing Design & Development at the University of Portsmouth graduating in 2013. His first full time role came as a merchandising assistant with Home Retail Group. After moving to Cutting Edge, James has gained experience in Corian fabrication, sales, CAD, and social media platforms.
James enjoys anything sports related (mainly football and running!); travelling, sneaker collecting and a fine ale on the weekends.
Jarek moved the UK in 2011 and has gained experience in two joinery workshops starting in Buckingham HG Timber Ltd prior to joining Cutting Edge in May 2017.
In his spare time Jarek enjoys broadening his general knowledge with a keen interest in World War 2. He is also a big fan of Formula 1 racing and Real Madrid.
Jay joined Cutting Edge in 2011 after graduating from Brighton Institute of Modern Music studying Professional Music.
As the role of CNC Machinist, Jay ensures all 3 & 5 axis machines function correctly and efficiently cutting materials precisely to the mm.
Music has always been a big part of Jay’s life and spends his spare time playing the drums and guitar in various bands across the UK.
Jenny joined Cutting Edge in 2011, having recently graduated from Bucks New University degree course in Furniture Design & Craftmanship. Joining the team as a trainee 3D project manager splitting time between the office and workshop she has progressed to become Senior Project Manager overseeing all projects within the office.
Over the last few years Jenny has worked on small and largescale, commercial and domestic projects for a number of renowned designers and architectural practices. Focusing on technically challenging projects which draw on her experience within furniture construction.
Jenny has an office companion, in her dog Enid who comes into work daily. Outside of work, Enid is a big part of life, along with Crossfit and spending time with family and of course her newborn son!
Building on the knowledge he gained working with his father in the laminated worksurfaces industry, Kevin started Cutting edge with his wife Susan in 1992. In 2004 he patented the Squirrel® fixing, the go to fixing device for the solid-surface industry.
Having been a keen fell-walker since his early teens Kevin likes to spend time visiting the Lake District on holiday with his family. Other passions out-side of Cutting Edge are an appreciation of all the arts, following F1 motorsport and sitting quietly at home with a pencil and paper.
Peter started employment at Cutting Edge in 2011 after 8 years in the retail / printing business as a CNC operator.
Predominately running a Bruning 5-Axis machine, Pete’s work involves the continuous running, cleaning and maintenance ensuring deadlines are met for fabrication stages. The CNC process ensures individual pieces are machined to the highest of standards and precision.
Outside of work Pete is a professional illustrator, enjoys art and regularly exhibits his work locally.
Piotr joined Cutting Edge in 2014 following his Archaeology studies at the University of Golansk in Poland. From 2014-2017 Piotr gained invaluable experience as a solid surface fabricator propelling him into a new role as a Furniture Fabricator creating reception desks and intricate joinery processes.
In his spare time Piotr enjoys metal detecting and part time Archaeology which has seen his him credited with official treasure discoveries.
Susan started her working life at Heath Lodge Veterinary Hospital. During her 6 years working in sales at Kitchen distributors Galley Matrix she met Kevin and together they decided to start their own business – Cutting Edge. She is now responsible for the finances and accounts of Cutting Edge.
Kevin and Susan have a son Ben who is great fun.
Outside of work Susan loves art especially involving textiles and walking their loony lurchers.
Having studied at the London College of Furniture from 1985-1988, Tim worked for Giles Thomas Furniture and the Custom Panel Company before joining Cutting Edge in 1993.
Tim’s vast experience enables him to specialise in intricate Corian fabrication, combined with his role as the Decoratives Manager, responsible for solid woods, laminates, and other solid surface materials.
